Ollantaytambo occurs as town around southern Peru, located in the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, Cusco region. These are some Sixty kilometre to the northwest of the city of Cusco, situated at an altitude of 2792 meters above sea level.

Ollantaytambo, which means something rather "Storehouse of my Lord," is thought to become a single left over lesson of pre-Columbian urban planning. A buildings & terrace too when a narrow lanes develop their original form. A straight, narrow streets now form xv square blocks off, or even canchas, which contain 1 entrance to the central terrace which is surrounded by houses. In an hillside overlooking a town occurs as monumental Incan complex, commonly known as the fortaleza (fort) due to its extraordinary bulwarks.
